My Experience
As Teaching Assistant and Behaviour Support Practitioner, I believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. While education is incredibly important, I place equal importance on children's mental health and emotional wellbeing. I understand that children learn best when they feel happy, supported, and confident in themselves.
My approach is centred around building positive relationships with children and creating an environment where they feel comfortable expressing themselves. I take the time to listen, understand individual needs, and help children develop resilience, confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning.
One of my biggest passions is reading. I love sharing books with children and bringing stories to life through interactive discussions, questions, role play, and imaginative activities. Reading should be more than just words on a page—it should be an enjoyable experience that sparks curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. I enjoy encouraging children to participate, share ideas, predict outcomes, and explore characters' feelings and emotions.
I believe learning should be engaging, fun, and meaningful. Whether supporting children in the classroom, providing behaviour support, or helping them overcome challenges, I strive to make every interaction positive and encouraging. I celebrate effort as much as achievement and help children recognise their strengths while building confidence in areas they find difficult.
Parents can trust that I will always treat their children with kindness, patience, and respect. My goal is to help every child reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally while ensuring they enjoy their learning journey and feel proud of their progress.
