Mum 47, with girls 21 (at Uni), 17 (training to be a paramedic) and 5 (home-schooled), all with ADHD, 1 with outgrown night epilepsy.
Other house members are Dad 47, dog (Boxer/Ridgeback) and 2x cats.
Dad runs a self defence academy and mentors children with learning difficulties or trauma.
As a family we love to go out on walks, read books and have movie time with popcorn.
My Experience
I have worked in child respite briefly and ran a parent-led play centre in New Zealand for 2 years and I've cared for others children.
My Qualifications
Currently starting: Safeguarding Level 1 & 2, Prevent, Equality & Diversity, Autism Awareness, Challenging Behaviour, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Awareness, Medication Awareness, Care Certificate, videos on manual handling & hoists, First Aid online theory & book practical for later.
My Availability
It will be 6pm onwards Monday and Wednesday-Friday, then most of the time on weekends. My 5 year old girl has a bunk bed if sleepover is needed.
