My Summary

My Experience

I have experience caring for and supporting children through a range of educational placements. I volunteered for one week in a Montessori nursery, where I helped supervise children, supported play-based learning, assisted with snack and activity times, encouraged independence, and ensured a safe, nurturing environment.

I also completed a two-week placement in a primary school, working closely with children aged 5–11. I supported pupils individually and in small groups, helped with classroom activities, encouraged positive behaviour, and built strong, trusting relationships with the children.

Alongside this, I recently completed a nine-week teaching placement as a first-year Primary Education trainee teacher situated in a Year 3 classroom. I planned and delivered engaging lessons, adapted activities to meet individual needs, supported children's academic, social and emotional development, managed classroom routines and behaviour, and worked closely with school staff to ensure every child felt supported and included. These experiences have given me confidence in caring for children, keeping them engaged, and creating a fun, safe and positive environment.

My Qualifications

I am currently studying Primary Education at university and am going into my second year, where I have developed a strong understanding of child development, learning, behaviour, and safeguarding. Alongside my studies, I completed a nine-week teaching placement in a Year 3 classroom, as well as volunteering in a Montessori nursery and a primary school, giving me valuable hands-on experience supporting children of different ages.

I achieved GCSEs in English Language (8), English Literature (7), Mathematics (6), Biology (7), Chemistry (7), Physics (7), Geography (8), Religious Education (8), Business (6), and a Merit in English Speaking. I also completed A Levels in Film Studies (A), Psychology (B), and Politics (C).

These qualifications, combined with my practical experience, have equipped me with excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills, alongside a calm, patient, and nurturing approach. I am confident supporting children's learning, wellbeing, and daily routines while creating a fun, safe, and positive environment.

My Availability

I have full availability and am flexible to work any day of the week, including weekdays and weekends. I'm available at any time of day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight if required. I'm happy to accommodate families' schedules and can be flexible to meet their childcare needs.
