About Me

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a friendly, caring and reliable babysitter with experience supporting children of different ages and abilities. I enjoy creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment where children feel happy, valued and encouraged to learn through play. Whether it’s arts and crafts, reading stories, outdoor adventures or helping with homework, I always aim to make time together enjoyable. I have an enhanced up to date DBS check and consider myself to be patient, dependable and relational.

My Experience

I have experience working with children in both school and childcare settings, including one-to-one support for children with additional needs. My work has involved helping children develop confidence, emotional regulation and social skills, as well as supporting learning through creative and engaging activities. I have experience caring for children in a calm, positive and child-centred way and understand the importance of building trusting relationships with both children and parents. I am happy to help with bedtime routines, homework, meal preparation and keeping children entertained in a safe environment.

My Qualifications

Child Development GCSE Grade A.
Qualified youth and community worker JNC Level II and 2:1 BA honours.

My Availability

I am currently available for weekday babysitting and can also provide emergency babysitting where needed, subject to availability. I am happy to discuss regular or occasional bookings and will always do my best to be flexible.
