My Summary
About Me
Hello! I’m Frankie, a qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator with professional nursery experience caring for children from birth to 5 years old. I am a warm, reliable, patient and energetic nanny who is passionate about helping children thrive in a safe, loving and stimulating environment.
I have experience caring for babies, toddlers and preschool children, including working with groups of 3 children aged 0–2, 5 children aged 2–3 and 8 children aged 4–5. Through my large family, I also have extensive experience supporting primary and secondary school-aged children.
I have a strong understanding of child development, the EYFS framework, safeguarding, childcare policies and procedures, and I’m DBS checked, First Aid trained and hold Food Hygiene & Safety certification. I enjoy preparing healthy, nutritious meals and snacks and am happy to support families with meal planning and cooking.
One of my greatest strengths is supporting children with additional needs. Having grown up in a neurodivergent family, I have first-hand experience with autism and ADHD and understand the importance of patience, flexibility and adapting care to suit each individual child. In my nursery role, I also work closely alongside our SENCO to support children through the early stages of identification and additional support.
I also have experience supporting deaf and non-verbal children, including using basic baby sign language to aid communication and encourage confidence.
I’m an excellent cleaner and take pride in keeping homes tidy and organised. I’m more than happy to help with children’s laundry, meal preparation, organising toys and bedrooms, and general household tasks to make family life easier. I also love animals and am very comfortable caring for dogs, including walks, feeding and companionship.
I believe childhood should be full of fun, creativity and adventure. I love planning crafts, messy play, sensory activities, baking, outdoor adventures, reading stories and educational games that encourage children to learn through play while building confidence and independence.
I am open to both live-in and live-out nanny positions and am happy to relocate anywhere in the UK for the right family. I’m looking for a family where I can become a trusted, dependable and caring part of everyday life, providing exceptional childcare while helping children feel happy, supported and confident as they grow.
