My Experience

Hi, I’m a caring and experienced stay-at-home mum with a background in social work and youth work. I have worked with children of all ages and have always enjoyed supporting children’s growth, confidence, and wellbeing.

Being a mum myself to my two-year-old toddler has given me even more hands-on experience with the everyday joys and challenges of childcare. I understand the importance of patience, kindness, consistency, and creating a safe and fun environment where children feel happy and valued.

I enjoy engaging children through play, creative activities, reading, outdoor time, and helping them build their independence while following their routines and individual needs. My background has also helped me develop strong communication skills, empathy, reliability, and the ability to support children with different personalities and needs.

I am currently looking for babysitting opportunities to earn some extra income while doing something I genuinely love. I am flexible with afternoons and evenings and would be happy to help families who need a trustworthy and caring person to look after their children.

My Qualifications

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, a Youth Work qualification, and a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification. I have also completed safeguarding training, giving me a strong understanding of children’s safety, wellbeing, and the importance of creating a secure and supportive environment.

My professional background has provided me with experience supporting children and young people of different ages, understanding individual needs, building positive relationships, and promoting emotional and social development. Combined with my experience as a parent, I bring both professional knowledge and practical childcare experience, along with patience, empathy, reliability, and a genuine passion for working with children.

My Availability

I am flexible on Monday-Friday in the afternoon and evening.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My rate is £15 per hour. I believe in providing high-quality, caring childcare and bringing my professional background in social work, youth work, and child development alongside my experience as a parent to offer families a trustworthy and supportive service.
