About Me

Hi! I'm Fiona, I'm a university student and a specialist Learning Support Assistant for Autistic, Additional and complex-needs children. I've previously worked in mainstream schools and nurserys. I absolutely love working with children and young people, it's a passion of mine.

I have an enhanced DBS, and I am paediatric first-aid trained. I'm experienced caring for children and adults aged 0-19.

I am flexible person who is calm and patient, but also bubbly and energetic. I enjoys creative play, and engaging with children's interests. I take a patient and gentle approach, guiding children to make good decisions, and applying natural consequence when relevant.

I enjoy facilitating learning experiences and activities wherever possible, and intergrate them into real-life activities and routines.
