My Experience

My volunteering experience in India gave me valuable hands-on experience working with children aged 4–12, which I believe has prepared me well for babysitting. I supported children with English and Maths, encouraged them to participate in activities and adapted the way I communicated depending on their age and individual needs. This taught me to be patient, attentive and understanding, while also keeping children engaged and creating a positive environment for them. I particularly enjoyed building trusting relationships with the children and making learning enjoyable, and I would bring the same caring, responsible and enthusiastic approach to babysitting. I understand that every child is different, and I am confident in providing attentive care while ensuring they feel comfortable, happy and supported.

My Qualifications

I have developed a range of skills and qualifications that make me a responsible and dependable babysitter. My volunteering experience working with children aged 4–12 has given me practical experience in supporting and communicating with children of different ages and abilities. I have also completed my Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, which strengthened my independence, leadership, teamwork and ability to take responsibility. Through my volunteering and other experiences, I have developed strong patience, communication and organisational skills, and I am confident following instructions and adapting to different situations. I am caring, attentive and reliable, and I understand the importance of creating a safe, positive and enjoyable environment for children.

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

Variable depending on the time of day
