About Me
Hello there! I’m a warm, energetic and reliable childcare professional with 15 years’ experience working with children of all ages, from toddlers through to teenagers. I’m currently looking for either full or part-time childcare work and can offer anything from regular weekly help and school runs to babysitting, homework support and occasional weekend or holiday cover.
I’m very hands-on and love getting children out and about, whether that’s parks, museums and activities or simply getting creative at home. I’m calm, organised and confident setting kind but clear boundaries, while making sure children feel happy, comfortable and able to be themselves.
My Experience
I have 15 years’ professional childcare experience, including long-term nanny and governess roles with children from early years through to teenagers based in the UK and overseas. I’m experienced with sole-charge care, school runs, mealtimes, bedtime routines, homework and tutoring, organising activities and days out, travelling with families and caring for multiple children at once.
I’ve supported children with everything from early phonics and school readiness through to entrance exam preparation and secondary-school homework. I also have experience supporting children with additional needs and different learning styles. I’m DBS checked and Paediatric First Aid trained.
My Qualifications
Enhanced DBS, Paediatric First Aid qualification, TEFL qualification and multiple CPD online courses including 'Montessori at Home', 'Babies In Mind' and 'Anxiety In Children'
My Availability
I'm currently seeking work so am flexible with my availability.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
My usual rate is around £18 per hour, depending on the hours and what’s involved. I’m flexible for regular bookings or longer hours, so very happy to discuss what works for your family.
