My Experience

I recently worked with a nanny agency for over a year, caring for two young children aged one and two. This gave me valuable hands-on experience supporting their daily routines, preparing activities, encouraging learning through play and helping them develop in a safe, happy and nurturing environment.

I also have experience in nursery and primary school settings through university placements, where I gained an understanding of children's development, learning and individual needs. In addition, I have a two-year-old nephew, so I understand how important patience, kindness and creating a fun, supportive environment are when caring for little ones.

I have a degree in Education with Psychology and Counselling, which has helped me develop a strong understanding of child development, emotional wellbeing and the importance of building positive relationships with children.

I'm passionate about helping children feel safe, confident and happy while providing parents with peace of mind that their little ones are in caring and capable hands. I enjoy planning fun, age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, curiosity and development, whether that's reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play or simply making everyday moments enjoyable.

I would love the opportunity to support a family and provide reliable, nurturing childcare tailored to their children's needs.

My Qualifications

I hold a BA (Hons) in Education with Psychology and Counselling, as well as an MSc in Psychology, which I completed with Merit at Sheffield Hallam University.

My academic background has given me a strong understanding of child development, learning, behaviour, emotional wellbeing and the importance of creating a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for children. Through my university studies, I also gained practical experience in nursery and primary school settings through placements.

Alongside my qualifications, I have hands-on childcare experience working with young children aged one and two through a nanny agency, allowing me to apply my knowledge of child development in a practical setting.

My Availability

I am available Monday- Friday 8.30am-4pm. Also available on some Saturdays.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
