My Experience

I have around 11 years of professional experience working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. I currently work at Abingdon & Witney College, supporting young people with SEN. My role requires patience, responsibility, good communication and an understanding of individual needs. I am experienced in supporting young people with their daily routines, independence, social skills, learning and activities in the community. I also have the personal experience of raising my own son, who is now 23.

My Qualifications

I hold a Level 3 Award in Education and Training and I am First Aid trained. I have 11 years of professional experience supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Through my current role with MacIntyre, I complete regular mandatory and refresher training, including epilepsy awareness, safeguarding, health and safety, and other areas relating to the care and support of children and young people with additional needs. I keep my professional training regularly updated.

My Availability

I currently work Monday to Wednesday and I am available on Thursdays and Fridays. I can be available from early morning, including from 6:30am, and throughout the day until approximately 6:30pm. I am happy to provide before-school and after-school care, school drop-offs or collections, as well as childcare, meal preparation and light household duties during the day.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £17.00 per hour

My rates start from £17 per hour for one child and may vary depending on the number of children, hours and duties required. I am happy to discuss rates for regular weekly arrangements, longer days and additional duties such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
