My Summary

My Experience

I have experience caring for children from newborns through to adults, including babysitting non-verbal young children and supporting children with additional needs. I have also taught SEN dance classes, which gave me experience creating fun, engaging activities that could be adapted to suit different abilities and communication styles. I have helped with school runs, homework, play and activities, meals and bedtime routines. Alongside this, I work as a carer supporting adults with complex needs, which has developed my patience, communication, adaptability and person-centred approach. I’m also currently studying Healthcare and supporting Adult Nursing, allowing me to continue developing my knowledge and skills in care and safeguarding. I really enjoy working with children and creating a safe, positive environment where they can feel comfortable, have fun and learn.

My Qualifications

I am currently studying year 2 of Healthcare and supporting Adult Nursing, which is helping me develop my knowledge and understanding of health, care and supporting individuals with different needs. I have also completed relevant professional training, including Safeguarding and Fire Safety. I’m committed to continuing to develop my knowledge and skills so I can provide safe, responsible and high-quality care.

My Availability

I’m available for childcare on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5:30pm onwards, with some flexibility where possible with advance notice. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, I’m available throughout the day and evening. On Sundays, I’m available throughout the day until 11:00pm. I’m happy to discuss specific times and do my best to accommodate each family’s individual needs. I can also work short notice, though flexibility may be slightly reduced

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

I can offer reliable, caring and flexible childcare tailored to each family’s needs. I can help with the morning school rush, school or after-school club pick-ups, homework, playtime and evening or bedtime routines. I’m able to drive, quick to adapt and happy to learn each child’s individual routines and preferences. With my experience caring for individuals with complex needs, including special educational needs, I’m patient, understanding and confident in providing a calm and supportive environment where children feel safe, happy and cared for.
