Lola
Private Tutor in Edinburgh (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
Hi! I’m Lola, a friendly, patient and approachable fourth-year Geography student at the University of Edinburgh. I enjoy helping students understand challenging topics, build confidence and develop effective study skills. I’m happy to adapt sessions to suit each child’s individual needs and learning style, creating a relaxed and supportive environment. I’m also available for nannying or babysitting for children aged 4 and above, and would be happy to combine tutoring with childcare where appropriate.
My Experience
I have previous experience caring for younger children through babysitting my younger brother and cousins. I also volunteered at a children’s horse-riding centre, where I supported sessions and helped children learn basic equestrian theory and knowledge. These experiences developed my patience, communication and ability to work responsibly with children. My customer-facing employment and university studies have further strengthened my organisation, reliability and interpersonal skills.
