About Me
I’m a warm, reliable and experienced childcare professional with a particular specialism in bilingual English-French childcare. I’m fluent in both English and French and enjoy creating an environment where children can naturally develop their French through conversation, play and everyday activities.
Alongside childcare, I have extensive experience teaching languages, which means I’m confident adapting my communication to different ages, personalities and levels. I’m particularly well suited to families looking for more than traditional babysitting - whether that’s French-speaking childcare, helping a child maintain their French, or simply providing engaging, educational activities alongside attentive care.

My Experience
I have extensive experience in both childcare and language education, working with children aged 2–16 years. I have worked as a nanny and au pair in France and Spain, including providing language activities as part of my childcare roles, and I currently work with French-English families.
Alongside childcare, I have over six years’ experience teaching French in the UK, with more than 550 hours of one-to-one tuition. I also spent over two years teaching English in primary schools and language schools in France, including in Marseille and Paris. I am TEFL certified and have also worked as a language teacher in Spain.
I hold a BA in Modern Languages (French and Spanish) and have lived and worked in France and Belgium, giving me a high level of fluency in French and extensive experience working across different educational and cultural environments.
My experience allows me to offer families a combination of experienced childcare, fluent French and professional teaching expertise. I am comfortable adapting activities and communication to different ages and abilities, whether caring for younger children or supporting older children with their language development.

My Availability
I’m available primarily on weekday mornings and evenings and am particularly interested in regular weekly arrangements. I can offer some flexibility around school and nursery schedules, and I’m happy to discuss occasional or ad hoc childcare depending on my availability.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £40.00 per hour
My rate is £40 per hour. This reflects my extensive experience in childcare and language education, alongside my fluency in English and French.
