About Me
Hi my name is Ellie. I have a passion for caring for children which started when I was studying my BTEC Level2 in Children's Play, Learning and Development. After this I decided to volunteer with my local Scouts group as an assistant leader where I helped to plan and carry out age appropriate activities. After this I completed a Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Healthcare Practice and worked as a Healthcare Assistant for a year after this I worked as a Nursery Assistant.
My Experience
I have past experience working as a nursery assistant with children under the ages of one to four. During this experience, I assisted with feeding, napping, changing nappies, toilet training and hand washing. I also planned and carried out activities that supported the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of the children. I was trained in safeguarding and health and safety policies and followed these at all times. I also shared updates with the children's parents at drop off, pick up and throughout the day.
