My Experience

I have over 20 years of experience teaching, caring for and supporting young children, with an extensive background in early childhood education in Hong Kong and current experience working in a nursery in the UK.

During my teaching career in Hong Kong, I was responsible for independently managing classes, planning and delivering learning activities, supporting children's individual development and maintaining regular communication with parents.

I also have over five years of experience as a private tutor, providing both face-to-face and online teaching. I am experienced in using interactive digital learning resources and adapting activities to children's ages, interests and learning needs, particularly for children under six.

I have extensive experience supporting children's emotional wellbeing, guiding positive behaviour and helping children develop confidence, independence and social skills.

My practical childcare experience includes supporting daily routines such as mealtimes, nappy changing, personal care, rest times and settling children into new environments.

I enjoy planning engaging, age-appropriate activities, including storytelling, music, arts and crafts, sensory play, imaginative play and outdoor learning.

Building secure attachments and trusting relationships with children is central to my approach. I also value open communication with parents to ensure children receive consistent, personalised and nurturing care.

My experience in both Hong Kong and the UK has strengthened my ability to provide safe, attentive and professional childcare while creating a warm, happy and stimulating environment.

My Qualifications

I am available on Thursday evenings and overnight, throughout Fridays including overnight, and on Saturday mornings and afternoons.

I am happy to consider regular part-time nanny positions, occasional babysitting and childcare arrangements in the family's home. I enjoy providing a safe, caring and engaging environment for children, with a focus on learning through play.

I prefer caring for children in their own home and do not offer school pick-ups, drop-offs or driving services.

I am also available to consider Virtual Nanny opportunities, including interactive online learning activities for young children. Virtual Nanny sessions can be arranged at other times, with hours discussed separately to suit the family's needs and my availability.

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
