Wonderful addition to our family

Doreen has been a wonderful addition to our family. Our son was 12 months old when Doreen started and he absolutely adores her, running happily for a cuddle first thing in the morning. Doreen is kind, honest, thoughtful, reliable, punctual and has a great sense of humour! We are both busy working parents and Doreen always knows when we need something from the shop and helps the house to run! We are so, so grateful for you Doreen!

Great with young children!

Doreen stepped right into caring for my four month old intuitively, when we otherwise had very little other support to draw on.

She knows all the best places to take your little one and is very helpful with suggestions, drawing on many years of child care experience in doing so. My little one is now almost 11 months old and due to my family's upcoming move we are sadly unable to keep working with Doreen. While her hours are quite set - within that time frame she is flexible and worked with me so that I could get what I needed to accomplished, while also meeting up with me so I could feed my little one and then quickly return again to what I needed to focus on. Furthermore she is happy to send updates to put you at ease while transitioning to being away more than you might like. I always had a sense that I knew how my baby was doing which put me at ease.

She is extremely reliable, very safe, upbeat, helpful, energetic and very sweet. My little one now smiles in the morning when she arrives and I could not recommend Doreen enough even when it comes to working with the youngest children.

Fabulous nanny who hits the ground running!

Doreen helped us out massively when we desperately needed someone who could hit the ground running and take care of our toddler. We always felt confident that our daughter was well looked after, Doreen was a “safe pair of hands”. She is an excellent communicator which made it very easy to work with her as parents, and she is experienced and confident. Can highly recommend Doreen, she’s been a star!

Wonderful nanny for 8 years (and still going!)

Doreen has been working for our family for eight years now -- and we couldn't function without her! She has been the must trustworthy and steady part "extra" member of our family -- got us through covid and now helps regularly with after school care and activities as well as during school holidays. She is full of initiative -- something I REALLY appreciate as a working mom with various other things on my mind! Doreen always remembers what is due, what we need to shop for, whose birthday party is coming up, what clothes are getting too small, etc etc. She is responsible, funny, and always, always, always on time. We rely on her in so many ways, and feel so lucky to have had her with us so long. We couldn't recommend her more highly.

Everyone should have a Doreen

Doreen has been looking after my 2, occasionally all 3 children on a part-time basis for the last few months whilst I grappled with re-locating and starting a new job. She has been everything I had hoped for in a nanny, practical, flexible and bags of initiative, whilst being a warm, reliable, 'safe pair of hands' with the kids. My 2 year old warmed to her immediately and often tells me 'I like Doreen' after we have said goodbye for the day. Recommended!
