About Me
I have been a registered childminder for 20 years. I am a genuine, honest person who believes in working as part of a team to support your child's care and development. It is important to communicate effectively not only with your child but also with his or her parents. It is paramount that we respect and understand each other. I would want your child to be happy and enjoy coming to my house and going on outings in the fresh air. I live in a house (with a garden), and I am located in Hayes. Cleanliness is important to me and your child's well-being, so I try to maintain this. I am located in close proximity to local parks, playgroups, farms and a library. At home, I have a full range of indoor/outdoor educational toys and offer art and craft activities daily. I have a daughter who is 25, studying at Roehampton University, and she adores children. I am a non-smoker. I have a full clean driving license and drive a Toyota seven-seater.
My Experience
In the last 20 years, I have worked for loads of lovely families. One of my first family was a police officer, caring for her 3 children for a total of 6 years. I have cared for a sweet little girl with special needs. She suffered severe complications at birth, and I cared for her for over 5 years until she went into secondary school. I have also looked after children with ADHD and autism, giving them that extra support in their early years. My own daughter has had her own struggles with dyslexia, and I have a deep understanding because of my personal experience as a parent supporting my daughter with her challenges. I have looked after multiple families with a second language; some families have come to England with little or no English, and I have been able to help their children learn English fluently. One of the children I used to look after had high blood pressure. Parents struggled to find childcare due to health conditions. To this day, I still have a relationship with him, and he visits me after work. He is 21 years old now.

My Availability
I’m available Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm. (Please contact me if you need help outside the above hours, to be discussed.)
I am currently looking for full/and part-time babies/infants.
I'm also available for full- or part-time care for school-age children. To do school runs at Grange Park School (at this time) before and after school pick-up and drop-off.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
To be discussed via an appointment or by phone. I do accept childcare funding.

I am pleased to provide a reference for Nancy Allwright, who has cared for my three children for the past seven years, precisely since September 2018.
Nancy is genuinely caring and dedicated to her job, making her an asset to any family. She is flexible, supportive, and always makes sure the children are picked up on time and properly looked after. She pays close attention to their well-being and keeps me informed, which I really appreciate.
My children enjoy their time with Nancy, and I have full confidence in recommending her to others. She has made a real difference for our family, and I can't recommend her highly enough.

Nancy has been looking after my son, Theodore, since he was 2 years old; he is now 6 years old. He is ready to take on his next year with a fantastic foundation thanks to Nancy's care. Nancy is an absolutely brilliant childminder - trustworthy, kind and deeply caring. She has been a constant and nurturing presence in Theodore's life, and we have always felt confident and at ease knowing he is in her care. Over the years, she has played an important role in Theodore's development. Teaching him so much along the way- this shows by his mannerisms and knowledge he presents every day.
From hitting key milestones to learning important social and practical skills, Nancy has been there every step of the way. Her patience, warmth, and dedication to caring for our son have such a positive impact on Theodore. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has done for my family.
