My name is Lydia. I'm a recent graduate of King's College London currently based in Hackney.
I love working and spending time with kids, especially when I can help encourage their innate curiosity/creativity/playfulness - I believe we can learn a lot from children and that these traits ought to be nurtured.
My interests include music (singing, playing guitar, writing songs, obsessively listening to albums), reading, philosophy, photography, and spending time with animals and nature.
My Experience
I have babysat longer-term for four other families (three of which have contacted me via this website.) I have also been doing odd jobs since I was about 14 - babysitting in my local town etc. I also previously worked in a nursery as an assistant for about a year, thus I have lots of experience being around children.
I hope to, in the future, begin training with children as a psychologist, however I am taking time from studying before I commit to this properly.
