About Me
Hello! My name is Jade and I live in Arlesey. I currently live with my husband and our cat, Ember. We are currently awaiting the arrival of our first child in March!
I am currently working as a full time Year 4 class teacher at a school in Welwyn Garden City. I have over 15 years of experience of working with children from the new born stage up to the age of 18.
I have been fortunate enough to work with many families during this time and watched as these families have grown and developed. It is an amazing experience to be a part of and one I've always enjoyed.
Children have always been a huge part of my life and I love working with them, seeing those light bulb moments and hearing their unfiltered honesty!
My Experience
I completed a degree in Primary Education Studies obtaining a 2:1 in June 2014.
After university, I spent a year working as a 1:1 TA, working with 2 boys with autism in a Foundation Stage classroom.
In July 2016, I completed my PGCE and am now a qualified teacher.
I have worked in both KS1 and EYFS classrooms previously and am now working in KS2 as a Year 4 Teacher.
My Qualifications
I have a full DBS check completed as a necessary part of my job.
My Availability
I am available during school holidays and on weekends, with the possibility of some weekday evenings.

£15 per hour for babysitting before 6pm. £12 per hour for anything from 6pm onwards

Jade was lovely and personable from her initial visit throughout and really engaged well with Joseph. Very punctual and professional. Will definitely ask her to child mind again

Jade took great care of my 22 months old and 7 year old kids. I felt very comfortable leaving my precious children with her for a few hours. She was prompt, flexible, knowledgeable, and very caring! I look forward to using her service again.
