Hi! My name is Meg Jackson and I am an 27 year old, female, who is qualified with a BTEC National Diploma Level 3 in childcare and Learning Development & Bacheler degree in Early Years Development and education to a level 5 and I am already qualified with a BTEC National Diploma Level 2 after working and training witihin Lilliput Day Nursery. I have three years experience under my belt working within a Nursery setting, working with large number of children aged 0-8. I have a bubbly & enthusiastic personality and believe I am a confident person with a caring and friendly nature who prides oneself on the ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with both children and parents.
I have gained great experience at Abbey Primary's assessment unit, where I have been for threeyears. Here I have gained a great experience and understanding of working with children who have a range of unique needs from Autism, ADHD, Global delay needs and Speech & language needs. I also have been lucky to attend training courses that enable me to help children with specific needs such as PECs training, sign along and multi sensory impairment training.
I currently work in a day nursery in Llanelli, as a deputy manager, taking care of children aged 3 months to 12 years in a setting with a Montessori & Reggio Emilia ethos and a great approach to outdoor learning, working here I am gaining great confidence and experience working with new born babies.
I am available for event babysitting (weddings, parties) & (have experience of this & can offer references from previous parties) I can travel to locations with my own car, so with permission and the correct gear, while under my care, you child will not be indoors! I believe your childhood should be fun and always jam packed with adventure and thats just not something you'll achieve infront of the tv!
I am free for day duties on the weekends!

My Experience
Three years experience working within a large Nursery setting, working with children aged 0-8. Dealing with all duties from nappy changes, toilet training, toileting, feeding, sleeping and cleaning. Each day, I also ensure that each child is developing in all aspects of areas through controlled play.
3 years working with special needs at a schools assessment centre, with children aged 3-6. Assisting with their development, helping with behaviours and also toileting.
Also have 2 years experience nannying for a family of 3, aged 3, 7 & 9, I gained great experience of overnight babysitting too.
I enjoy the graft, and I am happy hopping between jobs throughout the day!
My Qualifications
I have a Level 2 & 3 BTEC National Diploma in childcare and Learning development.
Bachelors degree in Early years education and care to a level 5.
