[Context: Jojo was our maternity nurse for 8 weeks Monday to Thursday when our daughter was 2 weeks old.]
Jojo is a baby sleep expert, no question about it. She is extremely friendly (making for great handovers in the evening and morning), confident in her ability (proof is in the pudding! Keep reading...) and incredibly professional (arrived on time to the minute!).
By the end of the 8 weeks, our daughter was sleeping through the night (8pm to 7am). Whilst you never know exactly what “did the trick”, Jojo was a massive part of the routine implementation and change process. I was expressing for the night feeds so Jojo was solely responsible for dropping and reducing feeds gradually.
Jojo was also on hand during the day via WhatsApp to answer all of our questions related to sleeping and feeding based on her wealth of knowledge.
We can’t thank you enough, Jojo!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I contacted Jo about caring for our 3-month-old daughter for a three nights and was very glad I did. Luckily Jo was available and was a fantastic resource. Our daughter liked Jo from the very beginning and was at ease with her - settling down to sleep very well indeed.
Jo was super confident which was immensely reassuring for us as it was our daughter’s first night not co-sleeping with her parents.
As well as providing really attentive and considerate care, Jo also offered excellent constructive advice about sleep and feeding that have already made a substantial difference to our routine and sleep quality.
We’d definitely love to book Jo again, and she comes highly recommended from us.

Jo came to stay with my 3 month old for a few day while I traveled for work. From the minute we met on the phone I felt at ease and an instant connection. Jo came over to meet the family and everyone loved her immediately. She has a lovely presence and is very calm with the kids.
As I had a miscarriage before having my baby, it was very difficult for me to have to leave him. He has also had some health scares but I felt so calm leaving him with Jo. She was so open and communicated very well while I was away. She even got him to sleep with only waking once for a feed. I struggled to get him to nap during the day and Jo managed to help him have a better sleep routine.
I would highly recommend Jo and wish that we could have her full time.

Jo worked with us for 6 weeks over November / December 2022, looking after our newborn twins (boy and girl) from when they were one week old. The twins were born at 34 weeks, so we were super nervous because they were very small & just overwhelmed at trying to figure out how to look after multiples.
Jo was great - she gave us tips & tricks to manage twins & helped build our confidence. She helped create a routine which worked - we had the twins on a 4 hourly feeding schedule by week 3, and the baby girl was sleeping through the night by week 6. She has a very relaxed & fluid approach, tailoring her methods to suit the family. We also have a toddler & Jo was really excellent at helping us navigate the transition period with her.
I’d highly recommend Jo as a newborn care specialist… a must for any family with multiples!

We hired Jo two nights a week for five weeks, after a rocky first month with our newborn (7 weeks at the time) and struggling to settle in as a new family of four. She was great with him and taught us some valuable tips and tricks to help with settling him to sleep without rocking and with baby massage as he had a lot of wind and discomfort. Jo was very friendly, showed a lot of flexibility and was always happy to answer any questions on WhatsApp. She also provided us with a sample schedule to follow from 3 months. We’d definitely recommend Jo!

Hi mums! We had a newborn this July and hired Jo 4 nights per week for six weeks. She had been excellent and helped us through the most challenging period of early parenthood. She is very polite, flexible and knowledgeable about newborns. She kept us updated on his feeds & conditions every morning and has shared valuable tips and tricks to guide us through the early weeks. We felt confident leaving our newborn in her safe hand at night. We highly recommend her if you are looking for someone reliable & professional!

Let me start by saying this was my first baby not only was it my first baby but I turned out to be one of those over protective and clingy mums to the point where on jo’a first Night Shift I cried and she had to give me a hug to put my mind at ease and I even said to her please keep him safe I was petrified having a complete stranger take care of the single most important thing in my life! I needn’t had been jo was literally incredible she was kind caring attentive she gave me morning handovers after every shift which really helped me realise just how on the ball she was my little boy was so fond of her he would cry when she left nothing was ever too much I slept like a baby myself knowing jo was taking care of my baby I only wished she would’ve moved with us and done daytime work as I would’ve kept her in my life till he was 18 🤣 the only regrets we had is that we didn’t book more nights in with her we will miss her greatly she really was one of a kind replacing her is going to be such a tall order! 🥺

Jo is down to earth and good fun to be around, which is just an added bonus when you have another person coming to stay in your home a few nights a week.
Jo came to mind our sons 3 nights a week for 6 weeks. She was skilled with twins and was able to show us tricks and techniques which we still use. She is knowledgeable in newborn care. It was reassuring to be able to ask her regular questions regarding their health and behaviours and get advice from someone that sees lots of newborns.
Jo takes direction with ease and was super flexible with arrangements. As I was breastfeeding, Jo brought the boys to me as they needed feeding. She was highly attuned to their hunger ques and within a few nights she had them sleeping between feeds and only waking for one feed a night...which was magical.
We are forever grateful for all the sleep we got with Jo..she contributed hugely to our mental well-being in those first weeks.

Hi mum! I'm a mum of 3 in South Kensington (5yo, 3yo, 3mo) and we hired Jo 5 nights per week for 6 weeks in February 22' after my son was born. "Jo nights" as we like to call them, are our best nights of the week. She got us through the hardest period of early parenthood, making it possible for me to be a present, rested, happy mom for our two older girls in the day time. I'm still in touch with Jo trying to get back on her schedule, but she books up fast! Jo arrives on time to the minute, she communicates well and gives excellent reminders. She has a command and expertise of child development that makes you feel confident immediately. She helped us find the right help for our 3 week early son who has stomach upset and had him sleeping for 4-5 hour stretches after 6 weeks. She loved him with a mother's touch. She's gentle and confident, and is a soft presence in our household. Before hiring a night nanny we worried about having someone else in our intimate space, but Jo doesn't leave a trace, she comes and goes quietly, is clean and a welcome house guest. We're even trying to convince her to travel with us to help with the kids this summer. I've had a handful of mothers helpers over the years and, hand to the heavens, I'd hire Jo as a full-time nanny in a heartbeat if she'd let me! Her rates are fair. My husband and I wish we'd known what a difference this type of help makes for marriage and family life with our oldest two. A no-brainer expense. Mum, I wish you luck finding the right fit for you, but in my opinion, Jo is such a professional that it would be hard to find a family she doesn't serve perfectly. She's brilliant.

Jo spent 2 weeks with us as a sleep nurse and was great. Professional, knowledgeable and very likeable so an easy recommendation to make.
