My Experience
With over 20 years of professional childcare experience, I provide warm, reliable, and nurturing care tailored to each child’s individual needs. I am a qualified Early Years Teacher and former Nursery Manager and Early Years lecturer, with experience working with families both in the UK and overseas, giving me an appreciation of different cultures, parenting styles, and family values.
I am currently looking for part-time nanny work, either full days or after-school care, and I’m happy to support families with flexible arrangements where possible.
I have extensive experience caring for newborns, including working as a night nanny, supporting families through those precious early weeks with feeding, settling routines, sleep support, and providing parents with much-needed rest and reassurance.
I also have significant experience supporting children and young people with ADHD, Autism, PDA, and a wide range of additional educational and developmental needs, always focusing on helping every child feel safe, understood, and able to thrive.
Having worked with Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) families, I understand the importance of professionalism, discretion, and respecting each family’s privacy. Whether caring for a newborn, supporting school-aged children, or providing after-school care, I pride myself on creating a calm, engaging, and loving environment where children can flourish and parents can feel completely confident that their children are in safe hands.

My sister was in Lewes visiting inlaws for Christmas when her and her 4 month old twins were struck with bad flu. Like a Christmas miracle Nicky was available within 24 hrs to work overnight look after the boys, give them their medication on time and generally restore wellbeing and support to the entire family. From the first moment she was professional and caring and put everyone at ease. The help meant so much and really saved the day until everyone was back on their feet. Really can't thank or praise her enough.

Nicky has been great with our little one - newborn. Nicky has helped us with all duties such as feeding/ burping/changing/ sleep etc and guided us. Feel happy and calm leaving her with baby which has been very important especially as we have had baby loss. Nicky is super lovely to have with us, felt very relaxed having her and been able to get sleep, she is considerate with being quiet as we have a small flat... and we look forward to her coming.

Nicky was wonderful throughout. She came out to meet the children prior to babysitting for us. Our two children thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Nicky cooked tea with the help of our ten year old as sous chef. 🤪 very happy children. Very happy to highly recommend and will most certainly engage her each time we require a local babysitter.

Had Nicky a few times now, she is lovely and I feel good and trust leaving my son in her hands, know he is safe and i know she’s done amazing and can tell when I come back home to my son who has autism, who is very picky when it comes to anything and he doesn’t really like people coming to our home or doesn’t feel comfortable, but with Nicky I know he does.
She’s reliable with coming on time when I am in a rush to go somewhere and keeps me updated with messaging me back to see how my son is doing. Perfect

Nicky is a really caring, calm and happy, she’s looked after my 3 sometimes 4 boys one of which has autism the other adhd, they can be quite a handful sometimes, Nicky handles situations in a lovely calm manner, I never worry when she’s looking after them, we also always come back to a lovely clean house with washing etc done when she doesn’t have to do this but we appreciate it so much!!I highly recommend her xxx

Nicky looked after my two boys (aged 6 and 8) and was brilliant. She set them at ease immediately, and was calm, friendly and understanding with them both.
Great communication before, during and after and very reassuring.
I will definitely be using her again.

Nicky, cared for our two boys overnight, and was amazing. Both boys were so relaxed with her straight away and she instantly had a rapport with our eldest who is on the autistic spectrum and can struggle to engage with new people. We felt comfortable and relax leaving our boys in Nicky’s care which was so important as it was our 1st night away from them. We highly recommend Nicky and will definitely be calling on her in the future.

Nicky was a lifesaver for us! We were so nervous about leaving our two young children with someone we didn't know, but [Babysitter's name] put us right at ease from the start. She was warm, friendly, and immediately connected with our kids. She took the time to understand their routines and preferences, and she was always patient and understanding with them.
Our kids had a blast with Nicky. She played games with them, read them stories, and listened to their preferences. She was also very responsible and attentive, and she always made sure our kids were safe and healthy.
We were so impressed with Nicky. She is a natural caregiver, and we would highly recommend her to any family looking for a reliable and trustworthy nanny or babysitter.
