About Me
I am a British Bangladeshi, Muslim, working mum of 3 children in my mid 30s. I speak in English and Bengali. Currently working as a part time Teaching Assistant and a nanny/babysitter. I enjoy and get along with people of any age, race, background… I enjoy spending time and looking after children. ((I don’t have much availabilities at the moment but I will in September))
My Experience
As a mum of 2boys and 1girl, I enjoyed spending lots of time playing and taking them out, and watching them meet their mile stones. Taking them to local parks, soft play, children centres and attending different sessions, such as stay and play, baby massage, weaning programme, music & dance, little talkers… it was amazing to see how fast they learn new things. I also experienced leaving my youngest with a childminder after maternity while I started going back to work, so I can relate to other parents going through the same.
All the above experience for my child was crucial and helped with his physical/mental development and understanding of the world. This made him independent and grow confidence, which later helped with a smooth transition to nursery. Therefore I want to give the same kind of experience to other children to also help them!
I have lots of experience in changing nappies, feeding, bathing, weaning, putting babies to sleep, shaving their hair, potty training… of babies and toddlers of family and friend’s children from birth. I am always up for supporting other mum’s with their journey through my experience and knowledge.
I have been working in the same primary school for over 8years. I have years of experience working with children with autism/ADHD, which has taught me many skills such as how to manage children’s behaviour, meltdowns/tantrums, how reward system works, being patient and adapting to children’s age, ability and needs.
I also have been working with several families (long term) as a live out nanny/babysitter, with children aged from 6months+ to 3years old, girls and boys. This includes school runs and family outings. I have much more confidence in being able to do my job in different settings/ environment with different families and children who come with variety of needs/care and personalities. It’s an amazing feeling to become a special person in their lives and build a bond. It feels great to see them smile when they see me again. Makes my job worth whipped much than relate to

I have a UK full driving license since 2014.

Nadia has been providing a very high level of care to my almost 3 year old daughter. She engages her in various activities throughout the day to support the development of my daughter’s language capabilities and ensures my daughter is having enough opportunities to develop her independence in basic skills (washing hands, dressing and feeding herself) whilst controlling that all needs and safety standards are met. Nadia has quickly built good relationships with my daughter, which is a great achievement since it usually takes time and patience for my daughter to let a new person into her world. Nadia is highly punctual, professional and reliable. On a personal level, I enjoy having her in our home since she is very friendly and open person.

I had an emergency situation, and Nadia supported me!
I was unable to collect my children from school, so I contacted few people on this website. I felt most comfortable with Nadia. She was so understanding and accommodating. Although it was very last minute, she went out her way to support me.
My children had never met Nadia prior to this, but they were immediately comfortable to go home with her. Nadia called me upon collecting my children, so I can speak to them, this allowed them to feel safe with her. My children said she was 'so kind and friendly'.
I haven't used Nadia for other childcare services yet, however I can already tell she would be an amazing childminder, and will definitely be contacting her for future arrangements.
