Nanny in London: Brent (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
I am a dedicated childcare professional based in the UK, seeking a rewarding nanny position where I can contribute to the growth and well-being of children. With a diverse career background, I have discovered that my most fulfilling experiences come from supporting children as they grow, learn, and thrive through every stage of development up to adolescence.
Passionate, articulate, and well-presented, I approach childcare with patience, enthusiasm, and creativity. As a self-proclaimed science enthusiast, I enjoy encouraging curiosity and learning in fun and engaging ways. For me, being a nanny is more than a role — it’s about becoming a trusted and valued part of a family.
One of my proudest achievements has been being a role model for my younger siblings and caring for my nieces and nephews. These experiences have shaped my nurturing nature and strengthened my commitment to caregiving. I am excited to bring this same dedication, warmth, and professional approach to the next family I have the privilege to support.
My Experience
Experienced childcare professional with 15+ years caring for children aged 0–15, combining hands-on expertise with academic knowledge in psychology. Passionate, reliable, and family-focused, I thrive on creating safe and engaging environments where children can flourish.

Parents must carry out their own checks and references on childcare providers to ensure that they are completely happy before enaging in the use of their services.
Unfortunately, my experience with this nanny ended with serious concerns and I would advise parents to carry out all checks before allowing her to care for their children.
During the recruitment/employment process, I experienced difficulties obtaining the documentation necessary for me to complete and retain the appropriate Right to Work record. I was also told that a DBS certificate was being obtained, but I had not been able to inspect the certificate before the arrangement broke down. All of this happened in only one week she was with us.
More concerningly, I experienced significant inconsistencies between information communicated to me and information I subsequently became aware had been communicated to others.
Because my child's father and I are separated, she spent only around three days working directly alongside me and spent considerably more of her working time at the father's home. I had been open with her from the beginning about our complex family circumstances, including that allegations of domestic abuse involving the father had been reported to the police and that Children's Services were involved.
My personal experience was that she was extremely friendly, supportive and understanding towards me when we first met, but after spending considerably more time with the father, I noticed a significant change in her communication, attitude and behaviour towards me. Given how much information she had been given about the circumstances, I found that change particularly concerning.
Events on the final day left me sufficiently concerned that I ended my involvement with her and informed my child's father that I did not consent to her continuing as our nanny.
Because of the circumstances that arose, I have raised my safeguarding concerns with the relevant professionals, including Children's Services, and the police have also been made aware of the circumstances and her details.
I would strongly recommend that any parent considering employing her independently verifies her identity, Right to Work documentation, DBS status and references before employment begins.
I am also asking Childcare.co.uk to review this matter and independently verify the documentation and professional qualifications listed or represented on her profile, including any psychology qualifications she states she holds. Where someone is being entrusted with the care of children, I believe appropriate identity, safeguarding and professional credentials should be capable of independent verification. Ultimately, children's safety must come first.

Thank you for your review. I take feedback regarding my childcare services seriously; however, I feel it is important to clarify that the circumstances described do not accurately reflect my professional relationship with the child or the arrangements in place.
The person who has posted this review does not employ me, does not pay for my services and is not the parent with whom I have been engaged in providing childcare. The child resides with his father, who has custody, and I have dealt with him in relation to the child’s care. The child’s father is able to provide the relevant documentation and court order should this be required to verify the circumstances.
There are also additional personal circumstances and concerns regarding the reviewer’s conduct which I have documented. I have experienced behaviour that I consider to be harassment, including the individual waiting outside the property and taking photographs of me. I do not believe these personal circumstances should be discussed publicly, but I am able to provide relevant documentation or evidence to the appropriate party if required.
I am concerned that the review has been made in the context of an ongoing personal dispute rather than from genuine experience of the childcare services I provide. I therefore respectfully ask that any assessment of this review takes into consideration whether the reviewer has actually used or paid for my services.
I take my responsibilities very seriously and care deeply about the children I work with. I am always happy to provide appropriate documentation or information to the relevant platform if required, but I will not discuss private family or court matters publicly.
I respectfully ask that any review of my services is based on genuine personal experience of the service I have provided and not on personal matters unrelated to my professional work.
