About Me
Hello, my name is Jemima, I am a second year child nursing student at UoD. I am originally a Shetlander but stay in Dundee for my course. I grew up on a farm and have a big love for animals, horses especially, having many of my own back home and being treasurer for the UoD Equestrian Club. I am a very big music lover as well playing the fiddle for a decade and I love a bit of ceilidh dancing too.
My Experience
I have had lots of practice experience through my nursing degree and have worked with many different children, ranging from premature babies to adolescents. I have worked with many children with complex needs as well and have lots of experience. I have had opportunities to babysit my younger cousins throughout their life (currently they are 13,10 & 8). I have to renew my BLS and first aid training every year for my course so I am up to date on my training. I am capable to do all the basic skills needed to care for a child plus some extra skills around child development and I have access to many helpful resources.
My Qualifications
I am currently getting my child nursing degree. I have a food hygiene certificate, first aid training, I can drive and have my own car, and I have done courses on child development and the needs of the child.
My Availability
I am usually always busy on Wednesday and Thursday through the day as I have uni but I am usually available at any other times with some exceptions for placements and non-regular classes.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.50 per hour
I will take £10.50 an hour but this may vary depending on the number of children I am looking after.
