I am a 39years of age and have a little boy. I have been working with children since I was 17years old.
I am a fully qualified childcare provider and have the completed my first aid training and have a current DBS certificate.
Over the years I have gained extensive experience working with children and their families. Recently working throughout the pandemic in a Children's Emergency Department as a Nursing Assistant and previously before that I worked within a Specialist Nursing Team supporting children with vast dependency needs (oxygen therapy, tracheotomy, PEG feeding) with complex needs (Life limiting conditions), physical disabilities as well as learning disabilities & behavioural challenges.
Alongside these roles I have been supporting several families over the years as a Nanny/Housekeeper or Night Nanny which I have thoroughly enjoyed.
I enjoy being a part of their development and achieving milestones whilst having fun and making sure they are safe and happy. I enjoy using the outdoors and natural environments to plan fun activities which encourages their on-going development.
I have a warm and caring personality. I am very reliable and have a good work ethic and dedicated to providing a healthy and stimulating environment for a child to excel. I am very pro-active, I am very likeable & fun to be around, and I certainly think in childcare this is very important.

My Experience
I have worked as the following ; Fulltime/Part Time Nanny, Night Nanny, Management within a nursery, Nursing Assistant within a Children's Emergency Department, A Community Nursery Nurse within a Children's Respite & 1:1 school settings (Medical support), Nursery Practitioner, Babysitter.

Jo has been a huge help with me and my family both in the house and with our boys. She is extremely tidy and has a natural way with children. The boys love her positive energy and willingness to help out with all aspects. She helped with the homeschooling, backing me up with household chores and just very reliable.
