Hi, I’m Jo
I’m 39 years old and a proud mum to a little boy. I’ve been working with children since I was 17 and am a fully qualified childcare provider with up-to-date First Aid training and a current DBS certificate.
Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience supporting children and their families in a variety of roles, including nannying, emergency childcare, and nursery nursing. During the pandemic, I worked in a Children’s Emergency Department as a Nursing Assistant. Prior to that, I was part of a Specialist Nursing Team, supporting children with complex and high-dependency needs, including oxygen therapy, tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, life-limiting conditions, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and behavioural challenges.
Alongside these roles, I’ve continued to support families as a Nanny/Housekeeper and Night Nanny—roles I truly love. I feel privileged to be part of a child’s development, helping them achieve milestones while ensuring they are safe, happy, and having fun. I enjoy planning engaging activities, particularly those that make use of the outdoors and natural environments to encourage ongoing learning and development.
I have a warm, caring personality and pride myself on being reliable, proactive, and dedicated. I work hard to create a healthy, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. I’m friendly, positive, and fun to be around—qualities I believe are so important in childcare.

Jo has been a huge help with me and my family both in the house and with our boys. She is extremely tidy and has a natural way with children. The boys love her positive energy and willingness to help out with all aspects. She helped with the homeschooling, backing me up with household chores and just very reliable.
