About Me

I am a qualified paediatric nurse, now retired, with neonatal experience. I also have experience with children with complex needs, i.e. experienced in gastrostomy feeds, children on oxygen, seizure medication

My Experience

I have experience with premature babies; multiple births; breast feeding support; establishing routine and sleep management; complex clinical care (NG Feeds, gastrostomy feeds, oxygen, suction, etc.) general nursery organization.

Provided emergency care for two babies at a wedding venue when booked childcare was cancelled short notice.

Supported family of five with their newborn. Initially 3 days per week, reducing to 2 days per week and now, 9 months on, on a ad hoc basis. Followed family preference for contact parenting baby. References available.

Daytime support provided for premature twins, one on home oxygen, over period of 6 weeks. Attending baby clinic with mum, present at health and community nurse visits and provision of feeding charts and record of daily medication/oxygen and feed regime. References available.

Absolutely wonderful

I can't say enough about how wonderful Lynda is. She is knowledgeable, confident and a complete natural. I felt so so confident leaving my 6m old with Lynda (our 1st time having a babysitter!) and he absolutely adored her.
Cannot recommend enough!
