Thank you for looking at our ad, please read on to learn about the type of care we offer to children and do get in touch if you have any questions at all.
We are 3 Childminder’s (Suzanne, Adrian & Lisa) living in Chessington, Surrey and we work with 2 Ofsted and Leap Ahead registered childminder’s assistants, Margaret and Sharma. This allows us to provide the children with lots of attention and enables us to meet their individual needs. We aim to provide a welcoming and stimulating atmosphere for preschool age children and babies. The babies and toddlers in our care are happy and engaged and enjoy their time with us. We have no pets and do not smoke.
We have a very unique childcare setting for many reasons, namely…
We are flexible – should you be contracted for your child to attend just 1 or 2 days per week, you are free to book in extra hours and days as and when needed.
We only care for babies and preschool age children up to 5 years, so we have no older children attending in the afternoons and no school drop offs / pick ups to take your child on.
We are all qualified childcare professionals and we continually undertake additional courses throughout the year.
We provide everything! Breakfast, snacks, lunch, formula / toddler milk (of your choice), whole milk, nappies, wipes and barrier cream (of your choice) – all included in fees.
We have two lovely settings both in the same road - Little Flowers is all on one level with a dedicated playroom, nap room, nappy room and craft room plus a big beautiful garden. It is large, inviting and secure and because it is only used for childcare we have been able to design the layout to meet our childcare needs exactly. We have a private entrance leading to our dedicated playroom, a large lounge with kitchenette for preparing meals and bottles and dedicated quiet room for naps and resting. We have a downstairs shower room with nappy changing facilities and a large fully enclosed and secure back garden.
Our other setting Flowers Day Care (which is 16 houses away!) is a house with large playroom, craft room, sensory room, second playroom and a lovely enclosed garden. Both care for children aged 3 months - 5 years years and both follow the same ethos of providing friendly and small group care in a home from home environment. For more details about the differences between both of our settings please visit our website - we have recently uploaded some new pictures.
We think OFSTED lets us have too many children per adult (!) so we work to our own ratios which means more hands on deck and better care for the children.
I enjoy spending time with children and believe my skills are ideally suited to the role of a childminder. I aim to provide a warm, fun and inviting childcare service for children and their families.
Our setting has been Ofsted inspected recently and we achieved the "Good" rating in every category. (2016)
We are 2.2 miles from Surbiton station (7 min drive). We are a 2 minute drive from the Ace of Spades roundabout.
We run a small group and relaxed setting enjoying indoor play, role play games, stories, music, singing and dancing, crafts and garden play. Our setting is specifically designed for children aged 3 months - 5 years. We operate with the professionalism expected from a nursery but are able to offer childcare with a much more personal approach, getting to know families and children extremely well and catering to their individual needs.

I have 10 years experience as a home carer and care manager and 7 years expereince as an Ofsted registered childminder, I have numerous childcare qualifications and countless glowing reviews from parents.
As a mother myself I understand how difficult it can be to leave your child with someone new, I do all I can to ensure you and your little one are happy and settled as quickly as possible. We create a Whatsapp group for each family we work with and send pictures of your little one enjoying their time with us. This is especially good for settling in when we can reassure you that your little one is happy and you can also message me throughout the day to check on your little one.
Lisa has over 10 years experience in a nursery setting and numerous qualifications, she is a mother herself, is fantastic with the children and has a very caring nature. Margaret is a mother of 3 and grandmother of 4, she has plenty of experience with children within her family as well professionally for the last 6 years being a registered childminder's assistant, she is qualified in paediatric first aid and undertakes continuous training courses throughout the year.
We have numerous personal and professional references available which you can read in our portfolio should you wish to visit and you are also welcome to make contact with one of our current parents to ask them anything about us.

I was so delighted to find Flowers Day Care, Susanne, Margaret and Lisa gave my little girl a safe and secure haven where she grew in confidence, motor skills and social skills. Every time I picked up my little one, I stood outside just watching her interacting with the children and adults and she appeared to be very content with smiles and babbles and was very confident around the playroom, it was so lovely to watch.
I chose Flowers Day Care as my first child care as they were thorough in their paperwork, always updated me with feedback of each day and supported me with any questions I had. I felt relaxed in their company and so did my little girl.
We then had to move to a new county, it was a sad time as both of us felt secure with Flowers Day Care. However, It is a great place for your child to learn and grow in a comfortable, safe and stimulating environment.
Our daughter started at flowers day care just before turning 1 and she has absolutely loved it there. She built up such a lovely relationship with both Suzanne and Margaret, as well as the other children. A wide range of activities, games and singing was always organised and our daughter was always very happy to be dropped off there in the morning. As parents, we were kept very well informed of Madelynne's time there with her diary that was filled in daily and being sent regular photos. I would recommend this childminder to anyone!
My little boy who was 1.5 yrs when we relocated to London and started with Suzanne and Margaret was understandably undergoing lots of change at the time. The ladies' patience and understanding with him and his issues with food and specifically, lumps, was immediately reassuring and put us totally at ease. They are always very calm and confident about their ability to get him settled and they have done an amazing job! He gets lots of cuddles and attention from Margaret which he loved and the ladies, and their amazing new assistant Lisa, have worked wonders with settling him and indulging him in his airplane spotting obsession and even advancing him with food. He has done so much since he started with playing, face painting, music time (which he loves!), reading and outdoor play. it was very hard for us to trust someone with our only child in another country but we trusted these ladies straight away and they have not only been extremely professional but very understanding and flexible of our changing circumstances and most importantly, very nurturing to our little boy. We couldn't be happier! Thank you Suzanne, Margaret and Lisa for your personal approach with our little boy.
Thank you so much to Suzanne and Margaret for looking after my daughter, she loved coming to you everyday. The short time she was with you she learnt so much, she loved playing with the other children. She wouldn't want to leave some days x
We feel very lucky to have found Suzanne and Margaret at Flowers Daycare. They have been looking after our daughter for 3 days a week since she was a year old, after I went back to work. We are nearing the end of our time with Suzanne and Margaret, they have helped shape our daughter into a happy and confident little girl. She has been kept busy with activities, playing, arts and crafts, etc, as well as mixing with other kids her age/younger/older. We feel Flowers Daycare really has provided that home away from home setting, but with educational activities thrown in the mix. We couldn't recommend them highly enough, if this is the type of environment you want for your child whilst you can't be with them for what ever reason.
