About Me
Hi, my name is Martina, and I am a childminder and a mum to 11 years old Benjamin and 8 years old William. I have been married for 12 years. My husband John is head of the Geography Department in Edgbarrow School in Crowthorne.
After having Ben, I have decided to change my career path and become a childminder. Our home is a three-bedroom house near Bracknell Leisure Centre, child-friendly with a good-sized garden where children can play safely and have fun. I provide a wide range of activities, including cooking, crafts, music, storytime, playtime, messy play and etc. We take regular trips to parks, playgrounds, play centres, and libraries to feed the ducks and also participate in different cultural events. I provide nutritious snacks throughout the day.
I believe in working closely with parents to provide the best possible care and activities for their child’s individual needs.
I make sure that all children have the opportunity to enjoy activities, having an equal chance to learn and develop and have their individual needs met. All children, including various ethnicities, cultures or religions, home language, family background, learning difficulties, gender or ability, are equal, have the same rights, and are the same opportunity and are welcome in my setting. All the children that are in my care are all made to feel part of our family.
My Experience
I am an Ofsted qualified and registered childminder with many years of experience. My latest ( Oct 2022) was greaded Met (the highest grade based on different criteria) and previous (Feb 2017) Ofsted inspection grade was OUTSTANDING.

I keep up to date with all required training. I try to do as much training as possible, and I am always looking for training that is new, exciting and that will improve my Childcare Practice.
I use the Bracknell Forest Local Safeguarding Children Board Safeguarding Toolkit, and have up to date Safeguarding Children Policies.
I work with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) for all children in that age range, as I am aware of their child development.
My Availability
TERM TIME ONLY
AVAILABILITY - Mon - Fri before and after school/ preschool spaces
I pick up and drop off from and to St Micheal Primary School, Fox Hill Primary School and Rectory Lane preschool.
Emergency childcare may also be available if I have a vacancy.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
My working hours are Monday to Friday from 7 am to 6 pm. However, flexibility is possible.
My fees include drink and snack. Please contact me about the fees as they depend on the session. [Unfortunately, the Childcare website does not offer multiple choices for the fees/charges, and some options might be more suitable for you :-) ] Thank you.

Martina looked after my younger son since he was 10months old until present.
She provide excellent care for my son, with lots of love, good variety of toys and activitys, great entertainment arround the parks, playgroups, garden area; good socialising environment with other children in her care.
Very good communication regarding to any changes to the schedule, with lots of notice in advance to be able to find alternative childcare to my son; great updates every day regarding the activities made during the day with my son; excellent learning development for my son, gaining lots of skills and confidence as walking, climbing stairs/slide park, talking, learning nursery rymes and new sounds.
I will recommend her to anyone, very qualified chilminder with courses up to date.

Martina was an amazing childminder. We had few childminders before but Martina was the best. My daughter did not want to leave her setting and was always asking for Martina during the weekend. Martina was cooking delicious meals that my little one enjoyed and was very creative in terms of crafts, things to do for children, etc. Every day Maya was bringing new crafts/drawings home. Her favourite was play with a rainbow rice and playdoh. Martina was keeping me updated on a daily basis by sending lots of pictures and writing in Maya's book. I highly recommend Martina if you are looking for a childcare. She is the best!!
