Browny Bears is an Ofsted registered child-minders situated in Worcester park in a quite residential area, within short walking distance of Worcester park station and a short car journey to Stoneleigh station.
My name is Sharron I have many years childcare experience as I have 3 wonderful grown up children of my own, I love children and find watching them grow and learn is one of the most rewarding things there is (Especially knowing I may of played a part in some of it). I have completed my paediatric first aid training, A Chip course, an introductory course into safe guarding children and will soon be starting an apprenticeship in level 3 childcare and young peoples workforce
Lauren who I will be Co-minding with has previously worked in a nursery and has gained 4 years childcare experience, a level 3 Apprenticeship in childcare and young peoples workforce, Paediatric first aid, level 2 in food hygiene and lots of experience with the EYFS (Early years foundation stage)
We have a very friendly Labrador called 'Blue' and two cats one called 'GK and the other 'Little cat'. We believe children can learn a lot from animals, We will be teaching the children how to care for them and how to handle the animals.
We have a large 3 bedroom house with a nice big garden for the children to play in, and at the end of the garden we have a log cabin solely for the children filled with lots of fun, stimulating and educational toys, Books and Resources. In the house the children will have access to the lower floor, were we have a dining room were we will eat our meals, a living room for quitter periods of the day, a kitchen which is child safe to Ofsted standards, a bathroom solely for the children and a newly decorated sleep room so the children can have a peaceful sleep.

Lauren and Sharron have been looking after my daughter, Eva, for 2 years now and my youngest daughter will be starting with them in the new year. We came to Browny Bears after a bad experience with a local nursery and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. They completely took on board everything we had been through and really helped my daughter to settle in. She never cried when I left and I felt so comfortable leaving her when I went back to work. The setting is wonderful with a great garden to play in and explore. The cabin is full of lovely toys and is beautifully decorated for different times of the year (with the help of the children!). They really go the extra mile in every aspect.
The children all get on really well (as do the mums and dads!) and Eva has formed a close bond with all her friends there. It sounds cliched but it really is like a big family and I know that's also how Lauren and Sharron view the kids.
The range of ages are great too as my daughter has really benefitted and enjoyed doing things the older kids are doing (although age appropriate activities are available for all the children, she has always wanted to keep up with the 'big kids' which has been fantastic for her development!). They do a great mix of fun and educational activities and day trips out when numbers/school holidays allow.
I simply cannot recommend them enough and we feel so lucky to have found them.
