Fantastic childminder!!!

Mandy is conscientious and reliable. She has a lot of love and care for the children, especially babies and toddlers. Our son built meaningful friendships with the other children whilst with Mandy from when he was 14 months until he was 3,5 years old and ready to go to a school nursery closer to our house. Mandy has always ensured a steady and systematic development for him as per age appropriate children's developmental stages. She had a folder with his painting and photos of his activities. He made loads of crafts like calendars with his picture stuck on it to take home for example. Mandy has looked after him with her heart, he was always well fed and very happy there, playing with plenty of toys or in her spacious garden and being occupied by various activities. During the warmer months Mandy would always take him outdoors to parks or forest school with the other kids. He would participate in creative activities such as baking, making play dough, painting, making cards, etc.. I would definitely recommend Mandy to any mum, she's Ofsted registered and is brilliant at ensuring children at even young age settle in well. She also works well with parents on child's specific needs.

Couldn't have asked for better!

Mandy looked after Olivia for almost 2 years and I couldn't have hoped for more. Communication with us was brilliant, we felt and still feel like Olivia was welcomed as part of her family.
Mandy took olivia out almost every day to the park, forest school, singing classes and more, she went above and beyond.
We only left Mandy so Olivia could start nursery and she is miles ahead of her piers in her shapes, numbers, colours and alphabet etc and that's all thanks to Mandy
I couldn't recommend this beautiful soul any higher, we are really going to miss her

An important part of our child's early years

Our child joined the Little Diamonds family soon after turning one. Transitions were always very hard for our little one, a very sensitive soul - and Mandy recognised this and did all she could to help our child feel safe and loved when apart from us. Over the years, our now 4 year old has developed strong bonds with the other children in Mandys care, as well as Mandys own family :) Our child has always enjoyed seeing Mandys Mum and chatting to the extended family when they pop round. Also, because Mandy has cared for children in the area for so long, she has her own strong links with other childminders and they often meet at local playgroups, forest school and activity groups together - further extending the social circle for the children while maintaining a recognisable pattern of events that our daughter always looks forward too.

Activities at home include crafts, stories, singing, baking, lots of free play and on warmer days, fun in the garden... waterplay on hot days. Mandy also has themes that inform activities sometimes, for example a book they've read together.
There's also Ziggy, Mandys grown sons pet tortoise! We all love ziggy. Sometimes the children get to pop to the pet shop and buy his favourite food to feed him!

We can't recommend Mandy enough and will be very happy to answer and Q's you may have while considering Little Diamonds.
