Our little boy attended The Little Pixies from the age of one until almost three, and he absolutely loved his time there. There was never a day when he didn’t want to go in, and he was always happy and settled when we collected him. We’ve never had such a positive experience with a nursery and only wish we’d known about Debbie and The Little Pixies when our daughter was younger, as her experience elsewhere was very different. We would wholeheartedly recommend The Little Pixies to any parent looking for a caring, nurturing setting.

My little girl started with Little Pixies when she was 9 months old, it was a big transition for us but made all the easier by Debbie’s warm and open nature. She quickly settled and has had a brilliant three years there. Little Pixies soon became an extended family for us and my little one has become so confident and independent. As well as a lovely home setting, Little Pixies often go for walks and bus trips exploring Norwich, local attractions and parks which provides fantastic opportunities for learning and play. Debbie goes the extra mile and you know that she truly loves all her mindees. Would recommend.

Leaving my baby with Debbie and team feels like leaving my baby with a trusted Aunt/Nan.
LO was 9mos, very clingy, and not crawling yet when we went with Debbie.
Transferred my Little One (LO) to Debbie's after a subpar experience with a Nursery in town.
I thought I was imagining the bad experience with Nursery until I switch to Debbie's:
1. From day dot, LO was happy getting dropped off and picked up from Debbie's. This was never the case previously. I can feel LO is truly enjoying the setting.
2. LO always comes home clean. For reference, he came home sand-free when they went to the coast with Debbie than when he used to 'enjoy the sandpit' at the Nursery.
3. I feel they genuinely love my LO without the over the top 'positive vibes' that I felt when LO was at Nursery.
4. The experience feels like how I'd care for LO if I wasn't working full time. They go out everyday. They watch TV, but decides and watches as a group, reminds me of how my family does it when I was a kid. They do crafts and LO get to play with different age kids(this is important for me as I know we're one and done)
Can't recommend Debbie, Alec, Carol, and Kristy enough. They are such genuine and caring people to look after my LO.

Debbie looked after my son for three and then four days per week from 2y 4m until he started school at 4y 9m. He absolutely adored going to Debbie's house and was so well looked after. They went on outings almost every day, walking into town to go to playgroups, Bounce & Rhyme at the library, visit the Castle, and run errands, as well as trips further afield to the beach, zoo or Broads. Closer to home, in good weather they'd often spend much of the day in the park. When at the house, they did a mixture of free play in the house and garden, organised games, crafts and a bit of TV to chill out. I always felt well informed about what he'd been up to each day, and he was supported to learn age appropriate skills and topics throughout. With over 30 years of childminding experience, Debbie was also full of wisdom to share about thorny topics like potty training. The children all had fun together and were like a little family. We still see lots of them for playdates now.
Debbie continues to babysit for us, and we still feel part of the extended Little Pixies family. I have no hesitation in recommending her to other parents.

My daughter has been with Debbie since she was 9 months and we considered her good and calm behaviour down to the little pixies crew, although she starting to get some sass.
We have been welcomed into the family with open arms and they even came and celebrated my birthday and we have celebrated theirs.
Watching the dynamic of the kids is amazing. The older kids seem to adore helping with the little kids with my daughter (20 months old atm) considers herself a "big kid."
We are sent daily updates via WhatsApp and bombarded with images of the kids, which is nice to send onto family. Little Pixies often go out and with the kids and I think this has been advantageous to her development and happiness to go out with.
The other children's parents have become good friends and I have enjoyed playing with the other kids when I go to collect my daughter.
Overall we are extremely pleased to have little pixies in our lives and will continue to have in our lives until my daughter goes to school.
**WARNING** My daughter learnt the word Debbie before mama, which didn't go down too well with my partner 😅.

We couldn't have asked for anything more of Debbie and her team at Little Pixies in the care they provided for our daughter, who has just done her first day at primary school, and who couldn't have been better prepared thanks to the fantastic job done by Debbie and co. Debbie provides not only care, but a wonderful, loving home-from-home experience with diverse learning opportunities, from trips on the bus to go to the beach, to soft play, cinema, songtime at the library, visits to the museum, crafting, cooking, and visits to local toddler groups. Debbie provides a daily digest at the end of each day, so you always know what they have been up to, and can see that the children love being with Debbie and thoroughly enjoy everything they do with her and the team.
I can highly recommend Debbie and her team.

My little daughter is more than happy to go to Debbie’s every time and leaves her house with a smile in her face. It is a very active setting with a lovely teem of childminders who make her feel safe and cared for. I am very pleased with and grateful for Debbie’s services.

My child can’t wait to attend little pixies every day. The amount of activities the children do is excellent and my child has grown in confidence since attending and made great friends. I feel confident and happy sending my child to little pixies!

Debbie and her team have been incredibly welcoming to us and our little boy. With 15 years of my own experience of working in Early Years I was very particular with what experience I wanted for my 2 year old! Debbie and her team are loving, caring, responsive and efficient in every aspect of the service they provide us and our boy. The quality of experiences he has is brilliant; in Debbie's home and out in the community, which are all included in her very reasonable fees. We get regular updates on the fun had, the food provided (which is balanced and varied, with the odd little treat thrown in!) and any sleeps etc.
I would highly recommend Little Pixies to my friends with young children ❤️ Thank you for being amazing!

My little boy loved going to Debbie's, he can be really shy with new people but settled in very quickly. He went from the age of 11 months until pre school when he was 4. We moved away unfortunately but when looking for childcare for my daughter I couldn't find anyone who was up to the standards of Debbie's setting, and who takes them places instead of staying indoors all day. So I asked Debbie if she would have my girl and of course the answer was yes. So I am very happy that now my next child is happy with Debbie so much so that the fact the setting is a bit further out of my way doesn't matter at all as I know Maisie is and will be very happy there until she also goes to school. Debbie even still has my son who's nearly 6 in the school holidays as he loved it so much. Thank you Debbie for the aid you and Carol, Kristy, Alec and even 'Rainy' have been to my family.

My son previously attended Little Pixies for 3 years and I continue to credit many of his skills, particularly his social abilities with adults and other children, to Debbie and her time caring for him. Debbie is an extremely proficient and experienced childminder, very reliable and professional. She provides all amenities within the cost of her service, including weekly trips to the library, parks, toddler groups, local attractions etc, ensuring the children in her care experience a range of environments and are constantly learn new skills. Debbie stringently follows the early years framework, updating parents on their child’s progress consistently; making the transition from her setting to school seamless. My son’s reception teacher was very impressed with the thoroughness of Debbie’s learning journal and was able to get a greater understanding of him before he had even started school! Debbie is friendly, warm and inclusive, and both my son and I were sad not to have her caring for him any more.
