My name is Ramona and I am 32 years old and I am a proud mummy of a one year old boy.
I moved from Switzerland to England when I was 17 and started working as an au-pair. I absolutely love looking after children.
It is such a joy to watch them grow up and be part of their learning.
To watch them develop their own personality and become their own little person is just wonderful.
I am Ofstead registered, I have Nanny insurance, I have a full clean UK driving license and my own car.
My Experience
Overall I have around 16 years of experience in childcare, I have experience in working with children with severe allergies.
I have worked in a nursery in Switzerland for a year looking after children aged 3 months to 5 years old. After that I moved to England and worked as an au-pair for a family with 3 boys.
When I started, the older boy was 3 years old and the twins had just turned 9 months.
I lived with them for nearly 2 and a half years, then moved out but carried on working for them as their Nanny. I stayed with them for a total of almost 5 years. When they moved away, I started a new job in a nursery and worked there for just under 2 and a half years.
After working at the nursery I went back to being a Nanny and started working for a new family in September 2015 with 3 children.
The youngest one was only one year old when I started. I worked for this lovely family for 5 years until the kids all went to school and I was sadly not needed anymore.
I started a new job as a nanny in January 2022 looking after a little boy aged 10 months old.
I was in the position until August 2022 when I went on maternity leave.
I am currently still on maternity leave but I am looking into options of going back to work part time.
I am looking for a small part time job where I can mostly bring my one year old with me. He is very energetic, busy and just such a happy boy. He is very easy going so fitting his and works routine together will be quite easy.
I would preferably work 2 days a week but if everything else fits I am more than happy to switch things round to only mornings etc...
My Qualifications
- I have a qualification in EDI Level 3 Diploma for the Children and young People's Workforce SASE.
- I am a qualified paediatric first aider - training with Tigerlily
- I have completed my paediatric anaphylaxis training with Tigerlily
- I am Ofsted registered since 2015
