I am friendly, caring, fully qualified with 15+ years experience and I'm also a mother to 2 lovely children myself.
I'm positive, gentle, full of love, hugs and enthusiasm, happy to jump in and help however I can! I believe that children should be respected as individuals, free to express emotions with support and love.
I'm looking to help a family part time, looking after your children, helping around the house, taking your children out for fun activities. Whatever I can do to make life a little easier! I am also available to babysit in the evenings.
Please note, I have my 1 year old who will need to join me during the day :)

I have worked in many professional childcare settings, as well as teaching a class of children aged 3-5 and caring for babies for 4 years in a Montessori, Reggio Emilia setting.
I am also a carer for children and young adults with special needs and learning disabilities, supporting them to promote development in everyday activities and providing a fun, loving environment.
My Experience
I have worked in a Montessori and Reggio Emilia nursery as a teacher for 15 children aged 3-5, planning lessons and providing each child a loving, safe environment as they learn life skills at their own pace.
I have cared for babies from newborn for many years, helping to promote their physical and emotional development whilst enjoying play!
I also worked with a fantastic charity, supporting young children of all ages with special needs.
I also have many years experience working with teenagers and young men with autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour, supporting them to live a fulfilling and happy life whilst learning life skills and socialising.
I am also a mum to a 3 year old and 1 year old.

Emily is such a sweet and caring person and she has a lovely way with children. She is confident with all ages from birth and has lots of experience even more so since becoming a Mum herself (I genuinely believe this leads to a far greater understanding of the complexities of children and family dynamics).
Emily has been caring for my children on and off for about 4 years and is reliable, punctual and thoughtful. She is someone who can be trusted in your home, is sensitive with children’s needs and always uplifting and encouraging them.
This is a childminder whose presence is a positive addition to any family, whose aim is to make parents’ lives easier, ensuring their children are safe, happy and confident.
I would not hesitate to recommend Emily for any childcare needs and I will continue to book her for as long as I can.

Emily is simply amazing! She came into our lives and completely transformed them. She looked after my children so beautifully gently and with such care and respect, both for them and me.
The children absolutely adored her. She was the first person we ever entrusted our children to when we were away overnight, and we had absolute faith in her.
Emily is such a wonderful person. So kind and sweet and caring. I wouldn’t for a second hesitant to recommend her to anyone. I don’t think we will ever find someone quite like her again, sadly.
