Cathy is a fantastic nanny

We were incredibly fortunate to have Cathy step in at short notice to help our two children (aged 1 and 7 at the time) when I had to return to work more quickly than anticipated. From the moment she arrived, her warm and caring nature was evident. She immediately formed a bond with our two children, the youngest of whom had not been looked after by anyone else. My somewhat stressful return to work was made much easier by knowing that Cathy was looking after them (she even did the settling in process at nursery for us).

Cathy blended into our family with remarkable ease. Cathy is exceptionally child-focused, always putting the needs and well-being of the children first.

Her reliability and dedication are second to none, consistently showing up on time and ready to engage. Beyond just being dependable, Cathy has a wonderful way of teaching children positive behavior and good manners through kindness and patience. She creates a fun and nurturing environment where our children feel loved, respected, and motivated to learn.

Our experience with Cathy has been overwhelmingly positive, and we wholeheartedly recommend her to any family in need of a fantastic nanny.

Cathy is our Mary Poppins!

I saw Cathy around school before we thought we needed someone and she was always so focused and attentive with the children in her care, so when I needed someone to help I was passed Cathy's number and thankfully the stars aligned and she was free.

I trust her completely with both my children and she is proactive in finding out what is going on in the area and organising playdates with other children. She gives 100% to her job and due to her experience and skills she knows how to deal with children and how to entertain them. My daughter being a Covid baby was apprehensive with new people but Cathy has helped her develop her social skills and bring her out of her shell. I have come home many a time to the kids and Cathy doing all sorts of role playing, board games, reading, or arts and crafts. She really has a lot of energy to give on a daily basis and will always put in everything she has.

I highly recommend Cathy to anyone. She is reliable, trustworthy and loved by the children.

Many thanks Selina for your review. It's been an absolute honour to look after the kids. Xixi's laughters are very infectious, we spend most of the day laughing which is magical. So glad that she has her own circle of friends she enjoys playing with rather than following her brother. It has been great witnessing all the progress. Enjoyed the kids conversations and challenges they have set for me. It's been a joyous journey and I will miss them dearly. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to look after them.

Dedicated, Kind and Thoughtful Nanny

Cathy came to look after our sons (then aged 4 and 2) two years ago, just after the lifting of Covid restrictions. It was a difficult time for our family with complicated house moves, disruptive building work and our eldest son struggling quite badly to settle at school. Cathy was a Godsend. A capable pair of hands who offered calm wisdom and put in the necessary time and attention to get to know the children, thinking creatively how best to cater to their needs. She jumped in with both feet and went on what was probably a tough journey with us, and proved pivotal in helping us to get to a more stable place where the children are calmer and happier and we can better enjoy our time as a family. She also has seemingly boundless energy, an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of and connections to local children's activities and clubs, and a great sense of fun. We are very sorry to see her go and couldn't recommend her more highly.
