Consuelo cared for our daughter from the age of 11 months to 2.5 years. We carefully selected her after seeing around five others and knew from the outset that she would provide the best possible care for our daughter - and that she did.
Our daughter loved attending this setting and flourished with the activities and opportunities on offer. These were always varied and aligned with best practice for Early Years children. As teachers ourselves we recognised the dedication and thought that Consuelo gave to planning a wide variety of learning experiences. These included cookery, development of fine and gross motor skills, language development, teamwork and problem solving. The children were always engaged in something different each day, from childminder groups to the park/library and soft play. Her curriculum covers topical themes such as Chinese New Year. She fosters independence and encourages a varied, healthy diet by providing delicious home cooked meals.
She maintained excellent communication with us through the day via photos and messages on WhatsApp and a detailed log of each day on the Tapestry platform.
Her daughter Valentina is excellent with the children, providing a good role model when playing with them.
She is well qualified and keeps up to date with training that is both mandatory and of interest to her.
I would highly recommend her to any parent.

Consuelo is truly an outstanding chilminder who has her whole heart in what she is doing.
She looked after my 1,5 year old son for over 6 months and from the very first moment it was obvious that I chose the perfect childminder for my son. He has developed several skills under her care and loved going to her setting.
Consuelo is not in this for the money, childcare is truly her passion!
Consuelo was flexible and stood by us during some very tough times, helping me out as a single mum whenever she could. She was an absolute blessing. She always went the extra mile for us.
Sadly we are moving from the area, and our next childminder will have VERY big shoes to fill!
We sincerely love Consuelo and will miss her dearly.

We’ve had peace of mind with our son’s care over the past two years because Consuelo truly is a passionate childminder, professional, caring, generous and understanding. She has provided a warm and assuring environment, nutritious meals, a variety of fun and developmental activities in and out doors, she maintains high standards of hygiene in her home and she has been precautious during the Covid-19 pandemic.
She’s also captured moments that she shares so we’ve not missed out on those lovely moments. It’s been a bonus for us since she is fluent in French encouraging our son with familiar words. We are also grateful for her tips when we needed them.
Our son has certainly enjoyed every day in her care and we are saddened that the time has come to move on. For parents looking for reliable childcare, we recommend looking no further!
