About Me

**Looking to become part of a new family from November 2025, full/part time**

Bristol/Bath

Over 12 years' experience | Early Years Specialist | SEN trained | Passionate, Professional, Trusted

Hello! My name is Sasha, I am a Qualified Teacher specialising in Early Years Education. I have over 12 years experience of supporting the learning and development of children in their early years of life.

I am an outdoors enthusiast and love to spend my time exploring nature in all weathers. I have a passion for baking and cooking nutritious meals, hiking (with my chocolate Labrador), pilates, travelling, reading and music.

My calm, nurturing nature and approachable presence allows me to build strong, trusting relationships with children and families, enabling them to feel at ease and supported. I have years of experience in supporting children's resilience and ability to recognise and manage their own feelings and emotions. With my extensive experience of emotional attunement, I support children to develop their self-confidence and awareness of their own emotions. Building strong relationships is at the heart of my practice, enabling children and families to feel safe and nurtured. I'm passionate about supporting learning and growth through a gentle, child-led approach, through quality interactions, encouraging language development, curiosity, and independence. I can provide a fun, engaging and safe environment by blending my play-based classroom experience with home-based care.

I love to spark children's curiosity about the world and believe they learn best through engaging in real-life experiences. I regularly plan enriching outings to museums, libraries, forest schools, farms, theatre shows and perusing family hobbies such as swimming and gymnastics. I love to emerge children in cooking, baking and sensory experiences through play, following their individual passions and interests.

I am proactive and organised, and can support your family's unique routines and values in any way needed. I can provide nutritious meal planning & prep (including weaning & baking, considering dietary requirements), home learning area set up and organisation, light housekeeping & laundry, dog walking, weekly planning for classes, outings & activities. I believe strong communication is key.

Please contact me for any information/queries. I am happy to discuss flexibility of hours. References upon request.

My Experience

Qualified Early Years and Primary School Teacher with over 12 years of hands-on experience supporting the development of children aged 0–8 years across nursery, school, and home settings.

Nanny for a family of 4 for the previous 3 years - I have had the privilege of being a sole charge nanny for two families, caring for children from newborn to 3 years old (including maternity leave support). Currently nanny for a family with 2 children whom I’ve been nannying for 3 years - contract coming to an end in November.

Reception/Year 1 teacher in Bristol for 5 years.

Prior to this I was an Early Years Practitioner in an Outstanding nursery school in Bristol.

I have extensive experience working with children with SEN, including: ADHD, global delay and autism. Supporting the development of children with speech and language delay, dyslexia, attachment and trauma.

Sasha has proven to be an exceptional caregiver during the two years with our family. She is incredibly reliable and hardworking, consistently demonstrating a strong passion for child development and early years education. Sasha is highly flexible, accommodating the varied schedules and needs of our family with ease. She has a natural ability to engage with children, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment through creative activities and thoughtful interactions. Additionally, Sasha puts great care into meal planning, ensuring that meals are not only nutritious but also enjoyable for the children.
