About Me
I am an Ofsted registered child minder. I am a mum to two sons and two daughters, one daughter is also a childminder.They have their own homes and families. I live with my husband who works full time and the children love to see him..I have two tortoises, Shelly and Norman. I offer a, home from home setting, with a large outdoor play area. I am currently working on the back garden, turning it into a natural heuristic play area. I passed my driving test last march, which has been a huge help especially on school runs and trips out.I have appropriate car seats/boosters and business insurance. I drop off and pick up from St, Mary's school/nursery, times are generally from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm Mon to Fri. Later hours would be considered but not on Fridays. I cook home made meals that are healthy, i provide snacks/meals and drinks and there are no additional fees for these on top of care fees.
My Experience
I have experience in Asthma, Dyspraxia and Dyslexia and allergens. I have lots of experience as a mum to four and as a young grandma. I have been a child minder for nearly five years and before that i was an assistant to my child minder daughter whilst i trained.
My Qualifications
I have completed CACHE Level three Diploma for the children and young peoples workforce, Level three paediatric First Aid, Aspect 7 phonics, Managing children's behaviour, Channel General Awareness Module,Child accident prevention,Safeguarding and child protection, Child Exploitation, etc. On my last Ofsted Inspection , i was graded good.
My Availability
i have limited spaces available at the moment, depending on days and times and ages but there are some vacancies coming up shortly and there are vacancies available in the school holidays .

fees are usually by morning or afternoon session or full days, rather than hourly, please contact me for fees as they may vary depending on what times are needed

Karen is a warm and friendly childminder, my son has been going for just over a year now, and he deffinatley feels more like a part of the family to Karen than just another child. He has so much fun, eats a ton and cant wait to tell me all about his day.
I couldnt think of anyone more capable or trusting to take care of my little boy whilst I am at work. The bond and loving home Karen creates gives me so much comfort knowing my son is in the best hands.
I couldnt recommend her more.
