We have a whippet called Caramel and three cats called flash,Oreo and Shadow.
I work from my house with my 17yr old Daughter who works part time for me. I have just taken on a new member of staff full time. We have a large enclosed rear garden and park and fields close by for walks.
I was born Nottingham, After leaving school in 1998 I started work as a Dental Nurse and specialized in treating Nervous patients Using Sedation and GA, Implants and Private cosmetic work for 12 Years before wanting a change of career.
I registered as a child minder in August 2013 as I love children and their creative minds.
I have my husband Tony registered with my setting Who is my emergency cover if I had to take a child to the hospital. Tony is paediatric first aid trained and has Safeguarding training.
Due to working from my home I am a pack away setting and let the children make their own choices with toys and actives for the week.
The children will be able to have use of IPad’s and a laptop for homework and supervised internet time.
We try to go outside every session weather that is in the garden or in our local area weather permitting.
We are lucky to live in a area with public footpaths for the children to explore we have a field close by with sheep in for the children to watch them.
I have a sun shade which shades most of the garden and play area for the younger children so the children are able to play outside away from the sun.
We are a sun safe registered setting.

Having looked for a registered childminder via this website, Sabrina from Sabrina's little treasures was not only the first childminder to contact me, but she also sent me the most thorough information. I took the opportunity to visit before making the most of the settling in/taster sessions for my then 8 month old boy. The setting was friendly and inviting, and Sabrina and her staff were welcoming. Her daily diary updates are a great insight into how my son is with other children and adults, and full of useful information on diet, naps and toileting. My son settled in here with ease and it was soon time for me to go back to work, safe in the knowledge he was safe and happy with Sabrina. He has now been playing and growing with Sabrina's little treasures for nearly 2 years and we couldn't be happier- baby number 2 already has their name down on their list!
