Hello, I am a happy can do person with a positive attitude towards life, I am looking to become a nanny from Kippax, Leeds. I am an easy going person, reliable, honest and very friendly. I am a driver.
I live at home with my sons who are 5 and 10.
I currently work for Leeds city council, children services. And run residential's for young people with disabilities. I have 13 years of experience working with children with different needs and abilities.
I have a rolling DBS and have superb references. I do drive and I am very active and love walking, I often take my children on long walks. We also love visiting museums, baby groups, exercise classes, and farms.
Your children will be out having lots of fun with us no matter the weather.
My Experience
I helped care for my two younger brothers as they had disabilities my mum needed lots of support this is when i new i wanted to care for children, knowing i was helping my mum and giving her a break was very rewarding. In my last year of school i volunteered in a nursery for a year which i loved so much it was very rewarding. I then went on to do a childcare level 1 and 2 qualification.
For the past 13 years i have worked with children ages 5-21 in different settings with Leeds city council, i work on short breaks residential's for young children with disability's and additional needs supporting them on a Friday to Sunday residential. I have also worked on an after school club for the last 5 months also through Leeds city council (can provide references).
I recently was a nanny for two children ages 12 and 14 this was temporary as there nanny was of poorly, I can provide a reference for this. Whilst there i would help with any house work, prepare evening meals and take there dog for long walks. I have a 10 year old and a 5 year old and 2. I am also the family babysitter and always have a house full of joy and laughter. Family is super important to me doing this job is something I would love helping another family and been there when ever needed.

My Availability
I can be flexible and offer additional hours as and when required with notice.
I am available Fridays, every other weekend, and free all the school holidays as I work term time.
