My approach to childcare is to focus fully on the child's happiness and comfort and to create an atmosphere of love, care and fun.
IlI strive to achieve that in all of the work which I do.
I am very keen to take on an attachment parenting role and strive to show compassion and love for any child that is in my care.
I have often been responsible for children who display severe behavioural difficulties and, as they appear to relate to me more favourably, I am able to use some mutually agreed techniques to aid their progress and also manage their often tough behaviour.
In my work as a Teaching assistant; I also have experience of
responsibility for leading my own reading and writing intervention group
during literacy and am able to follow a pre-set lesson plan, whilst making
necessary adjustments for the pupils’ varying needs. I am aware of how children develop and how best to nurture this development and increase their progress.
It gives me a great level of professional satisfaction to see the children
under my care visibly learning, thriving and happy and this is what drives me to do my very best in the job.
I am looking to become part of a family who require someone to play an active and passionate role in showing their children love, care, support and fun. The previous familys in London I worked with include, new born twin girls till aged 9 months, a 10 month old boy till age 4 years and a 3 year old boy till 7 years and in Newcastle i woeked with a family of three young children, one baby and with a disability, a 2 year old and a 4 year old and I build positive and long lasting relationships with the children under my care.
I am looking for a long term placement where I can get to know the family and use my experience, my loving, easy going nature and my professionalism and patience to make a real difference and build a long lasting relationship with all concerned.
I am fully qualified and DBS checked and have good references and training in many areas of childcare. My previous career is as a teaching and nursery assistant.
Childcare is not just a job for me. It is so much more important and I throw every part of my being into it. If I sound like someone who could be a positive part of your family and your childrens' lives, then I am flexible and look forward to hearing from you and having a chat about our future working relationship and friendship.
