I am an OFSTED rated GOOD Registered Childminder in Poundhill, Crawley.
School pick up from POUNDHILL INFANT and JUNIOR Schools.
I have 12 years of experience in childcare working as an Ofsted Registered Nanny before becoming an Ofsted Registered Childminder plus having had my own two children, now 3.5 and nearly 6, I can relate to parents on the same level and understanding.
I am bright, fun, bubbly and most importantly- caring and trustworthy.
I can provide excellent written and verbal references.
My Experience
Before becoming a childminder I was a Nanny for 10 years working in the families' homes.
Having had my own children too I feel I have the best experience, both professionally and personally, you could ask for when it comes to looking after your precious little ones. My children, aged 2 and 4 will make great play mates for your little ones :)
My setting is a 4 bed detached house in Poundhill, Crawley. We have a spacious home with a separate playroom and a lovely secure garden with a trampoline, playhouse, sandpit, water table, climbing frame with swings and a side, lots of ride on toys and much more!!
I provide a home from home for your child and follow the EYFS for pre-school aged children.
I can provide before and after school care for children at Poundhill infant and junior schools. I can also do drop offs and pick ups to Poundhill Pre school.
I offer the children the chance for plenty of free play plus planned and themed activities as well as attending local playgroups, soft play, rhyme time, trips out to the park, farm and the beach.
Over the past 10years I have nannied sole charge for children aged from newborn- 10 years old. I have played a big part in weening, potty training, walking and talking and the children's general development including learning to read and write.
Since becoming a mum myself I also get the advantage of seeing things from a parents point of view where I didn't before. I believe this makes me the best I can be in my role as a childminder caring for your children.

Larissa is an experienced, caring and professional childminder who has provided excellent support for my son in the short time he has been there. A 9-month old with multiple food allergies can be a challenge but Larissa carefully listens to my routines and double checks to make sure she has got everything right. She will happily give advice if you want to run ideas past her, whether that's food options, nap times or ideas for days out.
The setting caters for all types of children well - active, readers, musicians, even gadget obsessed little ones will be happy with the wide variety of learning and development toys. It's also very helpful to have Larissa's children on hand so my son can not only be entertained but learn from them. They're also both lovely, well behaved children so testament to her parenting abilities. From a mum's perspective, Larissa is really friendly and very flexible.
Larissa is happy to provide as many or few updates to you as you want - the photos of my son though the day, allowing me to see how he's doing, are particularly nice.
