I have an interest in travel and photography, enjoy watching football and running in my spare time. Stephen Perse Foundation Cambridge, is an independent co-education preparatory day school for girls and boys aged 3-18 years, having returned to my family home, to complete the final year of my BA studies in Cambridge. The Stephen Perse Foundation were flexible creating a work/study balance contract. I supported the Early Years and Pre-Prep classes as a Higher Teaching Assistant. This role has allowed me to support children, including some with English as an additional language, by providing practical and innovative programs playing to the child’s strengths and encouraging the use of English. As a Higher Teaching Assistant, I have covered teaching duties when required, as well as delivering Phonics and supporting class teacher delivering the EYFS framework.

My duty’s included organising and supervising the after school Stay and Play facility held at the main site. This additional responsibility saw me overseeing a small team of staff.
