About Me
I am age 55 and have adult children as well as teenagers. I have 7 years experience in childcare. I am a qualified and approved childminder by OFSTED. .
My Experience
Caring for children is my natural ability. I also work with the EYFS standards and continuously update my knowledge of the various changes within the guidelines. I work as a childminder co childminding with another childminder in Wembley and is qualified and confident in providing an excellent service in my practiced field.
My Qualifications
I hold the CYPOP 5 qualification (level three) in Childcare and also NVQ level 2. I am an author specialising in writing Biography/memoirs and I have also published the first of my children's book (August 2019), followed by book 2 in October 2020 and Book 3 in January 2022. I do believe in getting out and about with the children to increase their knowledge and understanding of the world. Learning through play is the core aim of this settings and the children always wanting to attend is my indicator.
I have been inspected by Ofsted and has been awarded grade 2 (Good).
My Availability
I am available Mondays to Fridays from 7:00am to 6:30pm.

- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
My fees are £6.00per hour, however, my weekly rate for a full-time place is negotiable.

I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful childminder for my 3 year old twins, the progress they have made while being in Sherenes care is amazing, Sherene has such a wonderful caring nature about her, and has always kept me updated with their day, you can see Sherene loves the work she does, and the twins are always coming home talking about her and all the fun things they got up to, so I know they are happy in her care. Words are not enough to express how grateful I am to Sherene. ❤
