About Me

Hi,

My name is Lisa and I have two boys Miles 8 and Roman 1. Upon arrival in the mornings, you will be greeted with their two smiley faces (and I genuinely mean smiley) Miles is always excited about who next, we will welcome into our home, he is very affectionate, energetic and likes to take on the role of helping me set up the toys ready for the day. Roman is full of smiles, loves to explore and has just figured out how to run!

I feel very lucky that my job as a childminder allows me to spend each day with my boys. I understand how difficult it can be for you to leave your child/dren with someone completely new or especially outside of the family, where we feel most secure.

I want you to know that I provide a home from home environment and that all the children in my care I treat as my own. I want you to have peace of mind and not have to worry about your child, because I value each one of my children who walk through my door and I aim to give them the most welcoming, funny, educational and loving environment. In doing so, I want to allow you time to focus on work, and other areas in your life which may need your focus.

I have 20 years experience working in different childcare settings and a natural motherly nature which makes what I do feel not just like a job, but something that feels very natural to me.

My home is spacious which allows me flexibility to use either my kitchen area for a more open and free flow learning experience which also backs onto the garden, where outdoor play will be mirrored but also where child led play and exploration can take place. We also have a great view of wildlife, and often get many visitors in our garden which the children, including myself enjoy watching. My garden is secure, not overlooked and has plenty of space for the children to run around freely. I have a designated toy room, which can be used as a sleep room, or an area where the children can select their own toys and activities of interest to them, and where more quiet activities take place like circle time.

I would love to give you that peace of mind and give you the help with your little one, whilst making sure they reach their full potential in the early years.
