About Me

My entire working life has been spent in childcare in addition to raising my own two sons. This is driven by my love of babies and children and what I have always found to be a natural way with them. For me there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child develop and flourish no matter what age they are.
My employment has involved working with babies and children of all ages both day and night and I bring 36 years of experience to each job. In the past 36 years I have dealt with a range of issues including reflux, colic, allergies, sleep problems, breastfeeding difficulties and many more.
Whilst I like to keep up to date with the latest childcare guidance, I strongly believe that every family is different and that there cannot be a ‘one size fits all’ approach to raising children. I am very much guided by how parents wish me to care for their child and would only offer an opinion or advice when asked to.
As well as caring for twins and triplets I have worked as a child-minder and am not remotely phased by having multiple children in my care.
I have worked with many parents of newborns who are keen to establish a routine and I pride myself on achieving this well ahead of their expectations.
I am organised, flexible and accommodating as ultimately a good working relationship between me and the families I work for is important.
