About Me
My name is Toria, I’m thirty-five years old and I’m available now for a nanny position of anywhere from 15 to 30 hours a week, I can start immediately or as soon as you need me.
I’m a caring, kind and proactive person who likes to have a positive and cheerful outlook. I am naturally extremely kind and compassionate and a born nurturer who always wants to help. My attitude towards childcare is I treat children as if they were my own.
My Experience
I have worked as a part time nanny since November 2018 and have also provided babysitting to many local families. Currently I'm a part time nanny to two girls who are eleven and nine. In my full time job I work as a Personal (Support) Assistant to a young man with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Before I moved to London three years ago I previously worked in care for six years and cared for the elderly and young adults with multiple and profound learning disabilities. I have five years of experience working with people with autism, epilepsy and Rett syndrome and have experience with PEG and RIG fedding tubes.
I have many years of babysitting experience ranging from ages four months to fourteen years.
I also have four nephews and nieces under the age of seven who I regularly look after and love to spend time with.
My Qualifications
I hold a Certificate of Higher Education in Health Science as well as ten GCSE's and I have undertaken many short courses and certificates on childcare and early years topics.
While working in the care sector I completed various training courses in understanding epilepsy, PEG feeding, administering medication, infection control, nutrition, safeguarding and first aid.
My Availability
I’m available on weekdays until 7pm (can occasionally work later if needed or babysit some evenings) and I'm looking for between 15 to 30 hours a week.
I can start immediately or whenever you need me.
