About Me
I've worked with children for many years now, so I have lots of experience and no day is ever the same! I like to see children learn and develop through having fun. Each day, we always start and end the day with learning activities. (Counting, colours, shapes, Abc, flash cards ect ) and during the day we get out as much as possible to farms, walks, soft play, parks, splash parks, tots groups, music classes ect. (Around naps and taking elder sibling to school and collecting them). When we are at their home, we do fun activities like gloop, crazy foam, water play, arts & crafts, playdough, colouring ect please don't worry about mess! I always join in with these activities and make sure it's controlled without going everywhere! I am currently on maternity and looking at joining another family from June 2024 for a long term position. I am hard-working, kind and reliable (never had a day off apart from entitled holiday). I don't mind doing the childrens washing, hoovering and meals for the children (breakfast, lunch and tea). I am dbs checked and have a level 3 diploma in childcare.
My Experience
I have 6 years experience working in a Nursery as a practitioner and 1+year as a room leader at the same nursery. I also have 8 years experience as a nanny.
I have looked after children from birth-13years old.
I have been driving for 14years and DBS checked and will refresh my first aid course when I go back to work.
References can be provided from all previous employers.
My Qualifications
Level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education.
Dbs checked.
First Aid trained.
I was ofsted registered but it's expired during my maternity, I would be happy to get registered again if a family wanted me to, however my previous nanny families have paid for this as it benefits them with tax free chilcare.
My Availability
I am available between 7am-5pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. If need, I am also available Friday 7am-3pm.
Minimum 30hours.
