About Me
I am an engineer with some spare time on the evenings and weekends. Looking for adhoc work as a babysitter. Ideally with a family I can gain a relationship with.
I have a lot of time spare in evenings and weekends for the occasional or routine childcare. I used to work as a nanny and Au Pair and miss the job so much. Happy to have a pile of ironing or household chores to carry out while the children are in bed etc.
My Experience
I have worked with children between the ages of 3-16 at a children's day camp. This involved organising activities for the children to take part in (age specific) and ensuring they were carried out safely. I have also worked in a managerial position at the same Camp which involved more of a paperwork side of things, such as ensuring everything meets BAPA and Ofsted standards. I have also worked as an au pair for two years with three children from newborn to 4 years old. This was a very hands on role, ranging from having all three children and taking them to clubs together, to taking the newborn to the doctors for her two week check and also ensuring household chores were done.
